A young mexican guy winning the Cannes Festival 2008, with a his short film “Historia de un letrero... ” Story of a sign, he has never studied film making, as a matter of fact he was rejected from Film making schools in Mexico.
He also mentioned his desire to make a different kind of film, to show that mexican culture is not just drugs, violence and sex.
